This project is a complete renovation of a Schubart designed studio on Salt Spring Island. The client asked to add more space, have a view of the ocean and use simular materials and colours to the main Hank Schubart house.

A collaborative design between Jorge Siemsen Studio and boat designer Adam Voorhees. A stunning view looks east to the waterfront, while the house is situated along a crest of trees that is mirrored by its interior concrete spine. The vertical aged metal fins create privacy while blending in with its forested surroundings. - Construction set to start Summer 2019

A 3,000 sq ft residence located at the base of Mt. Erskine on Trustees Trail with a north facing orientation. The open concept living area sits atop a large garage. This structure has a unique shape with its south entrance facade forming an “aperture” with parallel horizontal lines. The north facing elevation opens to raised triangular lines and an expansive deck that reflects the view of the North Shore Mountains.
